The Allina Health Foundation inspires philanthropy to advance the mission of Allina Health, stewarding generosity to improve lives and create lasting impact for communities across our region. Together, these priorities ensure that philanthropy makes a meaningful difference—today and for generations to come.

Through strategic fundraising, the Foundation supports five key priorities that reflect both immediate needs and long-term investments in health and healing.

Fundraising Priorities

  • Mental health and addiction: advancing mental health and addiction services by strengthening an integrated continuum of care at the Center for Mental Health and Addiction and beyond.
  • Cancer care: expanding access to world-class cancer care close to home through leading-edge research, expert providers, and comprehensive patient support.
  • Building healing environments: building healing environments that elevate the patient experience system-wide, including the revitalization of the Abbott Northwestern Hospital campus.
  • Caring for community: to support patients and their loved ones, as well as community members, with community health programs, adaptive sports and recreation, hospice care, and related services.
  • Excellence & innovation: to advance groundbreaking research and technology, drive innovation in health care and support new treatments and therapies that benefit patients and improve outcomes.
