At Allina Health Cancer Institute (AHCI), 2025 was a year defined by growth and purpose. Through expansion and innovation, the Institute continued to strengthen its reputation as a nationally and locally recognized destination for compassionate, expert cancer care.

The Allina Health Cancer Institute

AHCI grew with intention to better serve patients and communities. The opening of a new clinic in Edina, Minn. brought the total number of AHCI locations to 18. Building on a team of more than 150 providers, the Institute welcomed more than two dozen new providers to its care teams. The Institute also plans to expand its specialty expertise by adding a gynecologic oncology program in 2026.

The Institute extended beyond clinic walls to make lifesaving screenings more accessible through the launch of Mammo on the Move mobile mammography. In addition, it is planning to introduce Minnesota’s first mobile lung cancer screening program in 2026.

AHCI introduced new, innovative modalities such as histotripsy for liver tumors, cellular and immune therapies, as well as expanding the use of artificial intelligence to improve screening accuracy. Access to 53 clinical trials provided patients with more opportunities for next-generation, personalized treatment.

Guided by a commitment to broaden access, advance care and deliver what matters most to patients, AHCI is shaping a future where every patient receives the highest standard of care, close to home.
