It's an exciting time to be a part of Allina Health. I am proud of our Care Team Members — over 27,000 strong — who worked to deliver best-in-class care to every square mile of our communities served, from Baxter and River Falls (Wis.) to Cambridge and St. Paul, and everywhere in between. Our 2024 Annual Report is a celebration of achievement, impact, and aspiration.
We're at a pivotal moment in health care. Transformative medical advances offer remarkable hope for patients, each of us, and our families. At the same time, nonprofit health care faces mounting challenges that we must meet with passion and tenacity so we can continue to lead as a source of hope and innovation well into the future.
While we are not alone as a health care system in navigating an increasingly complex environment, I do believe we are uniquely positioned to succeed. We have refreshed Values and a five-year strategy that will guide us to achieve our Vision to become our community’s most trusted health ally. The journey ahead may be challenging, but Allina Health care teams across our system are working tirelessly to improve affordability, enhance care models, and expand access—so our patients receive the best possible care, when and where they need it.

Chloe’s story
Chloe Nelson suffered an injury when she fell out of a hunting stand and needed ankle surgery. Her late twin sister was an organ donor, and the orthopedics care team was able to use her donated bone to repair Chloe's leg.

A rush of hope for Gloria
Gloria Cullen had symptomatic severe valve disease and was not a viable candidate for heart surgery. Thanks to Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute, she has been part of two clinical trials for transcatheter valve replacement.

Miraculous calm for Cindy
Cindy’s life changed when she had focused ultrasound treatment at Allina Health Neureoscience, Spine and Pain Institute — the only facility in the Twin Cities region where the procedure is offered.

In 2024, the Allina Health Emergency Medical Services team received over 148,000 ambulance response requests and over 340,000 total calls. We’re honored to serve our community with life-saving care at a moment’s notice.
